Update August 2009
Scolai (Scully) is a beautiful 4 year old b/w Border Collie/Shetland Sheepdog. He gets along with the other dogs, not sure about cats. Skully walks nicely on leash and loves to go for walks.

Scully is doing extremely well and has come a long way since coming into rescue. He has become a happy and more confident dog. He loves to play with toys and greet people at the door.
Scully has become very friendly with people who come to visit but will bark an alarm when he hears noises outside. He is a very good watchdog.

Scully is housebroken and is left uncrated in the house most of the time. The only exception is when dogs are fed and then he goes immediately into his crate.  After he has finished his meal he immediately wants out of the crate.

Scully prefers to be in the house but will go out with his person. He goes out to potty and will sometimes stay outside to play with the other dogs. (He and Red Dog loved to play!) He likes to be out at night when it is quiet. Thunderstorms and fireworks cause him some distress but an anxiety tablet helps him get through it. He will lay with his head on your lap when you watch TV or will lay at your feet. He loves to be close to his person
Skully is not real good with children, and would do best in a home with older children or a home with no children. Some border collies are nervous around small children because they tend to move quickly and somewhat erratically - some dogs don't know what to make of that!

Scully is a very sweet boy who needs a patient home who will continue to help him develop into the great companion he can be. He would be great for a single person or older couple.
I am extremely proud of the progress Scully has made. Anyone who knew him when he came into rescue knows the tremendous changes that have occurred.  He is a wonderful dog.
Scully is also a great mouser.
