SPECIAL NEEDS
Slainidh (SLAW-nee) is a black and tan female border collie. She is about 4 years old. "Sally" is a very gentle dog. She walks very well on leash, is housebroken, and is good with other dogs. Sally is a little timid but loves attention. She needs more socializations and time, but she has come a very long way thanks to her friend at the Nebraska Humane Society. Sally is now in rescue and in her very own foster home. While she is cautious around new people, most people can pet her. She likes to sit and take in her surroundings.
This sweet girl was diagnosised with Mammary adenocarcinoma. This is a low grade adenocarcinoma, as no vascular or lymphatic invasion is seen and as it is well-circumscribed. Excision appears complete. Her prognosis is cautiously good. It is recommended that she be checked yearly for any relapse. Slainidh is a sweet girl who deserves a special home to be loved in. Please keep this girl in mind as she becomes avalable for adoption.
Please email Karen if you are interested in "Sally".
